Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's food is a way to enter her mind. The food she creates is the result of her curiosity about the culture that is Los Angeles, which was inspired by a visit to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Cavatelli and Carnitas have the ability to coexist in harmony in the menus, a belief which has evolved in the course of the years. Every dish she serves is infused with a unique outlook for the future but also with a nostalgic look at the old. Motivated by her American-born Italian heritage, Lofaso launched Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 and was instantly well-received. Lofaso's take on old-school Italian has been hailed as among Los Angeles' most compelling Italian eateries. Lofaso has been praised by many as a local favorite who consistently delivers dishes that are authentic, tasty and inviting. Lofaso apprenticed under culinary legends and absorbed their sophisticated techniques but she was not afraid to take extraordinary risks to honor her instincts. As she rose to the top of the ladder and transforming several Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while being in contact with celebrities. Lofaso joined forces with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar which was the first bar to open situated in Studio City. The Lofaso had found a home at Black Market. Lofaso could achieve the creative spirit she desired by working with her. Black Market does not have any one specific direction, that's the intention. The course will begin by serving dill-flavored chips on potato Shishito peppers and finish with Korean wings. What binds this diverse variety of tastes is Antonia. Lofaso evaluates her achievements all through her career on the basis of the innate ability she has to get to know her audience well and be authentic to who she is. Apart from her memorable performances of Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars, her individuality was also recognized in other areas, beyond the kitchen. She is still awe-inspiring on the screen as an CNBC judge, and as a recurring character in the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso joined forces with Penguin Publishing to publish The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Recipes for easy, Delicious, Home Cooked Meals. In this book, she also shares her experiences as a mother and a pupil at The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso insists that the drive that drives her success comes from the heart of the kitchen and it is through this vein that she continues to have an eye on the pulse. Through the Chefletics brand, she's changing the look of the industry, by creating chefwear for both style and function. Lofaso wants to be true to her vision and customers. She's created Antonia Lofaso Catering to help achieve that.
