Anamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress. She received an award called the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress during the Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. French, German English fluently. In addition to her outstanding performance in her debut movie, the actress will remain in the memory of her role of the Romanian movie "4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days" which earned her many prizes, including the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. The actress was in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 luni 3 saptamani e 2 days" (4 Months Three Weeks and Two Days) which won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. The film also earned two other awards, The Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) and the Cinema Prize. In addition, she appeared on The Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca played Yasim in BBC's Five-Episode The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian film Boogie. She later was Irma's German grandmother in Fury, which was released in 2014.
