Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit was an Indian actress who is well-known for her role in the films 'Beta' "Saajan" and "Hum Aapke Hain Koun' . Her career started in the 1980s. She gained popularity through her part as a supporting actress in the film Tezaab. She next appeared in the movie 'Dil' in which she shared the screen alongside Aamir Khan. She was born to an Mumbai middle-class family and began dancing as a child. At the age of a teenager was attempting acting, she failed for a few years. She found success, and she went on to become a top actress in the Indian film industry. After her marriage was over, she took time off from acting before returning to the entertainment sector. More recently, she played an important part in the film "Gulaab Gang", which was about the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit was nominated 15 times for Filmfare Awards. Eight of these awards she took home. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. Her work in the field of social service is another a highlight.
